Today on the #SPOHNTRAINED Personal Development Podcast Nick is interviewing his good friend his mastermind (M1), Mark Crandall. He's an author, a speaker, a transformational coach. He has an amazing podcast called Purpose Chasers as well as he recently launched a coaching company with his partner Carolyn.
Mark is someone who you would meet now and never expect that he’s lived as much life as he has. He was taken from his family at 3 years old and put into the foster care system. Foster care landed him with a family that verbally and physically abused him for years. He even tells us a story about how one Christmas he was handcuffed and locked in a closet on Christmas when he was maybe 5 or 6 years old. He was also burned with cigarettes, while sister was thrown down the staircase.
Relieving these traumatic experiences lead him to substance abuse and addiction. He spent some time in juvenile detention and was in prison by the time he was 21 years old. It wasn’t until August 23rd, 2007 - the day he was released from the New Hampshire State Prison, that he entered recovery.
Since that day, he has made it his life’s mission to reclaim his life. This episode gives you so many golden nuggets of tips and tricks you can apply to your own life. Mark says that if you want to transform, quiet your mind. Shut your electronics off, and go be by yourself.
This is just the beginning of the transformation you will kick start by listening to this episode. We can’t wait to hear what you think!
